'til Love Returns

"'That there is brokenness,' he says quietly. 'That this world is brokenness. But within brokenness is the Unbreakable Name. How the whole earth groans 'til Love returns.'" (Joy Kogawa, Obasan, 1981)

For we know that the whole creation groaneth and travaileth in pain together until now. And not only they, but ourselves also, which have the first-fruits of the Spirit, even we ourselves groan within ourselves, waiting for the adoption, to wit, the redemption of our body. Romans 8:22,23

Frank T. spoke on this subject yesterday morning and I was filled with awe at the thought. It's good to feel "part of the great creation" once in a while. Verse 21 is also remarkable : Because the creation itself also shall be delivered from the bondage of corruption into the glorious liberty of the children of God.
That is how I feel: under the "bondage of corruption". And I have had so many, many blessings. I feel very responsible to share and give, because of the blessings I have been given.

Hi Jennypo! It has been a long while since you posted a comment at God Still Speaks. I am glad to see you are still writing. There is a beautiful humility in your faith and it is too bad the world doesn't see more of what a true faith looks like. It IS about brokeness and neediness, relying on His generous mercies every day.

Just started reading Ray Vander Laan, Echoes of His Presence. He describes the shepherd leading the sheep and when darkness falls over the fields, the shepherd walks beside them. The sheep are not driven or herded...they are led, comforted and protected. Our Shepherd is our strength! There is nothing arrogant about our faith.
Your writing is a very good thing. I am happy to be blessed by it.
